Fall 2021
Future Naturalists Beautify Park
Roxanne Stockdall's grandsons, Tommy and Lucas, accompanied her to the Knob Noster State Park Beautification Day Event in August.  They were helping with the removal of bush honeysuckle. They, very much, enjoyed using the manual puller. In this photo, they had just succeeded in uprooting a cluster of 4 small plants. Tommy had successfully identified the bush. They had a bit of a fight with the cluster because the puller would slip off. However, they did not give up and soon enough, were victorious! The boys were very proud and grandma just had to take a picture. Future Naturalists in the making.
Missouri State Fair
Paul and Roxanne participated in the Invasive Species Outreach Event during the Missouri State Fair.  Paul was quite busy with his booth of edibles, bugs and plants. Roxanne , also, had much interest shown for the pressed flowers.
Chapter members worked on the expansion of the native garden at the MDC office in Clinton. Ginger is hoping to put some plants in next month. This is something we could help with, as a chapter.
